This group, sponsored by Blakemore, meets weekly on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 on Zoom.
West End Middle School
Working with United4Hope, we volunteer our time and support to our neighbors at West End Middle as part of the PENCIL Partner program.
Project Transformation
The mission of Project Transformation is three fold:
- to meet the academic, physical, social-emotional, and spiritual needs of kids
- to provide meaningful ways for college-age young adults to explore ministry opportunities and develop as young leaders for the church and the world
- help churches connect with their communities
We work alongside Project Transformation in their summer program that is focused on assisting students in literacy and social-emotional health.
Our Building in the Community
Our building is host to a number of community groups, including 12-step groups, Toastmasters, and other community groups. We also offer low-cost rental space for music teachers to offer lessons to students in the surrounding area (email info@blakemoreumc.org)
