Blakemore's Housing Trust provides affordable housing for low-income families.  Each candidate must complete the year-long prospective homebuyers course offered by the Woodbine Community Organization (WCO) and secure approval for a bank loan.  Volunteer workdays and other related activities also offer community-building with other groups as well as within the Blakemore congregation.  At the close of 2009, three families will have moved into houses made possible by this program.
