And just what is Frozen Assets, you ask? No, it’s not a new government intervention strategy. Better than all that, it’s what we’ve done at Blakemore from August through November for lots of years, and we’re doing it again in 2009. Each year we prepare a score of different specialty dishes, in quantity, to be frozen and sold in time for holiday meals and other occasions. We do it to raise money for worthy causes and for the good health of our church family as we enjoy working shoulder to shoulder to create tasty recipes. We have fun as we get to know each other better, and we make some money to support some good stuff.
